Da oggi primo luglio telefonare in roaming costa meno. Il commissario europeo per informazione e media Viviane Reding ( nella foto), ha mantenuto le sue promesse. Ma vediamo innanzitutto che cosa sia il roaming.
Il roaming (Rintracciabilità nel territorio), dall’inglese to roam = vagare, andare in giro, identifica nelle reti telematiche e di telecomunicazione un insieme di normative e di apparecchiature che permettono di mettere in comunicazione due o più reti distinte(wikipedia.it). Questi strumenti vengono utilizzati dagli operatori telefonici per permettere ad utenti di diverse nazioni e quindi con diverse rete, di comunicare tra di loro.
Telefoniamo in roaming, quindi, quando trovandoci all´estero abbiamo l´esigenza di chiamare nel nostro paese e viceversa.
Questa idea di diminuire i prezzi dei messaggi e delle telefonate e´sempre stato un tema all´ordine del giorno nel parlamento europeo. Oggi ,come giá detto, è finalmente realtá.
Ma vediamo nel dettaglio di quanto sono diminuiti i prezzi:
i messaggi inviati all´estero avranno un costa massimo di 0,11 euro (IVA esclusa), rispetto agli 0,28 euro che si pagano oggi in media.
I prezzi sulle telefonate non potranno superare gli 0,43 euro per le chiamate effettuate e 0,19 euro per quelle ricevute all’estero,
contro i 0,49 euro e i 0,22 euro in vigore fino a ieri.
Ed è solo l´inizio: entro il 2011, infatti, le compagnie telefoniche non potranno applicare prezzi che superano gli 0,35 euro per le chiamate effettuate e 0,11 euro per le chiamate ricevute(tutti i prezzi sono IVA esclusa).
E le novità non finiscono qui: gli utenti potranno decidere un tetto massimo di spesa di telefonate all´estero ed una volta superato sará automaticamente interrotta la chiamata, senza finire in spiacevoli sorprese come succedeva spesso per mezzo dell´addebito.
Infine verrá introdotta la fatturazione al secondo al posto di quella al minuto.
Tutte buone notizie quindi per chi vive all´estero e per chi viaggia ed ha voglia di comunicare con l´Italia, una scelta mirata per rendere la comunità europea sempre piú unita. Buon divertimento quindi quest´estate con il roaming piú economico di sempre.
