Oggi su nonsoloitalia.it vorrei raccontarvi una storia che non tutti i giorni capita di ascoltare. Una storia che ha dell´incredibile ma che nello stesso tempo puo e deve insegnarci qualcosa. La storia di un italiano che ha raggiunto un importante successo sportivo, ma soprattutto di un uomo che ha raggiunto un importante successo nella sua vita. Il protagonista é Gianni Sasso, un ragazzo dell isola di ischia, che è riuscito a percorrere la maratona di New York lo scorso novembre nel tempo record di 5 ore 5 minuti 44 secondi, senza una gamba e con il solo aiuto delle stampelle. Nessuno meglio di lui prima ora. Un vero e proprio record.
Un impresa che a molti sembrerebbe impossibile realizzare, ma non sicuramente per lui, sportivo e atleta nato, che anche davanti ad un terribile incidente capitato a soli 16 anni non si e´arreso e certamente non senza sacrifici e difficoltà è riuscito a rialzarsi raggiungendo con merito un traguardo cosi importante ottenuto nella città più importante del mondo, davanti agli occhi di tutti.
Le immagine del suo successo hanno fatto il giro del mondo e la sua foto è finita sulle prime pagine di tutti i giornali americani, Gianni Sasso è diventato un eroe ma piú di tutto è diventato un esempio da seguire.
Ed è questo che si augura , che la sua vittoria aiuti ognuno di noi a trovare trovi la forza per affrontare i problemi che questa vita ogni giorno ci pone davanti, sconfiggere la paura e l´insicurezza, e non abbattersi davanti a niente, proprio come ha fatto lui. Il messaggio che Gianni Sasso ha voluto trasmettere attraverso il suo successo a tutto il mondo è proprio questo: niente è impossibile, non arrendetevi mai.
Prossimo appuntamento a Chicago l´8 Novembre dove Gianni proverá a battere di nuovo il record nella maratona cittadina. In bocca al lupo.
Ma non voglio dilungarmi troppo e vi auguro una buona visione con l intervista di Giovanni Savio ad un campione nello sport ma sicuramente anche nella vita, che è diventato un esempio per tutti noi. Grazie per le emozioni che ci hai fatto vivere
