Dopo Eroma un altro amico di nonsoloitalia.com ha deciso di condividere nel web le sue esperienze. Si chiama Vito Manna (nella foto) e nel suo articolo racconta le emozioni vissute nel suo mese all´estero.

Il mio mese a Barcellona: quando il viaggio non é solo vacanza.
Barcellona è la città, tra quelle che ho visitato, che ho sentito subito familiare. Decisi di partire per Barcellona con due miei amici nel settembre del 2007 per restarci 15 giorni. alloggiamo in un appartamento nel centro storico, nel quartiere gotico, molto simile al centro storico di Napoli.
A due passi dalla famosa Rambla avevamo la possibilità di tuffarci immediatamente tra i tanti turisti che tutti i giorni affollano quella zona e ammirare i tanti artisti di strada che vivacizzano il cuore della città. in 2 settimane cercammo di visitare tutti i posti più belli della città ( park guell, le case di gaudì, lo stadio camp nou:-), il parco moujuic, ecc..)ammirando l’architettura più affascinante, almeno penso da ignorante in materia, di inizio XX secolo. Il tutto senza negarci qualche tuffo in mare e la instancabile movida notturna della città catalana.
Quando arrivò il giorno di partire sentivo già che sarei tornato…mi ero affezionato a quel posto, pensavo che potevo benissimo vivere lì e avrei voluto conoscere meglio la loro cultura e integrarmi di più nella città non solo da turista. Sarà anche perché amo la lingua spagnola, ma nel 2008 dopo la laurea, mi aspettava un mese di agosto di meritate vacanze e decisi il 29 luglio di partire nuovamente per Barcellona questa volta con un po’ più di avventura e con uno spirito non proprio da turista, volevo vivere la città nel vero senso della parola. ll mio intento principale era quello di lavorare e vivere per 1 mese a Barcellona…..un progetto che nacque insieme ad un mio collega universitario che già aveva fatto esperienze del genere in Spagna.
Mi aspettava una casa a Barceloneta, quartiere nei pressi della spiaggia, con 4 svedesi e 1 inglese e 2 napoletani…..arrivato a destinazione le cose non andarono proprio secondo i progetti ma dal quel giorno iniziai l’esperienza all’estero più bella della mia vita! in realtà fu difficile trovare lavoro per 1 solo mese e dopo 10 giorni di ricerca lasciai perdere pensando che a quel punto sarebbe stato un mese intero di vacanza!il mio amico il giorno dopo il mio arrivo partì per Loreto de mar dove aveva trovato lavoro e da quel giorno iniziò la convivenza con persone mai viste in vita mia…fui fortunato nel trovarmi in casa un napoletano che supportava le difficoltà del mio inglese maccheronico, ma devo dire che riuscivo a comunicare con tutti.
La nostra casa era un “porto di mare” come si dice a Napoli, un viavai di persone e gli orari della mia vita italiana ero ormai un ricordo. Si respirava un’atmosfera di continua festa, anche se alcuni miei coinquilini lavoravano, ma la sera tutti dimenticavano i loro impegni e si festeggiava! Giornata tipo: sveglia verso l’uno , spuntino, spiaggia o giro in città, ritorno a casa verso le 7/8 ,cena italiana, a volte anche per gli altri quando decidevano di mangiare qualcosa di decente, e poi divertimento per i locali notturni di Barcellona!
Ormai dopo 10 giorni sapevamo tutte i locali con i rispettivi giorni di apertura. la cosa interessante era che stavo integrando la mia cultura con quella di ragazzi di altre nazioni ed ogni giorno ognuno conosceva qualcosa del modo di vivere dell’altro. Per varie vicissitudini, dopo 2 settimane dovemmo cambiare casa e dividerci……sta di fatto che io, l’altro napoletano, l’inglese e uno svedese ci trasferimmo in un piccolo appartamento sempre a barceloneta….per quello che pagavamo andava piu’ che bene. l’importante era trascorrere altre 2 settimane li’, non importava tanto dove si alloggiasse….questo mi ha fatto capire che anch’io potevo essere in grado di vivere in condizioni diciamo non al massimo del confort come siamo abituati, ecco l’essenza di un viaggio del genere, conoscere meglio te stesso!
Ormai il quartiere di Barceloneta e le zone limitrofe, le conoscevamo bene, a due passi dalla spiaggia era il luogo ideale. scoprimmo che in quella zona e nel Borne( alle spalle della stazione di Paseo de gracia) c’erano i ristoranti migliori senza prezzi eccessivi….ci dilettavamo la sera con tapas e paellas!…. tra preserata in spiaggia con feste e festicciole, e serate nei locali la vita notturna era ormai una routine!
Quando arrivò il giorno di partire ero una persona felice, avevo conosciuto tante persone nuove che forse non rivedrò mai più, e avevo voglia di raccontare a tutti le emozioni e le avventure che avevo trascorso in quel mese fantastico! la cosa che avevo capito erano alcuni miei limiti, miei difetti e miei pregi perchè no! un’esperienza del genere ti segna, ti cambia nel senso che hai una nuova visione di te stesso e mi sono sentito molto più libero! ne avevo bisogno!!! l’esperienza che ho appena raccontato ha segnato una mia rinascita personale perciò ho voluto raccontarla…….quando un viaggio non è solo una vacanza…..
